New Books

Here are a few titles that have come in the warehouse.
First up is a new one from one of my favorite author/illustrator, Graeme Base.
Enigma, as usual, Base's art is intricate and colorful. He hides a lot of stuff in the pages
of this code-breaker book.

Eric Carle also has a new one, Rabbit & Turtle, which is a bunch of short Aesop's Fables.

In the chapter book arena, there is almost always a new Magic Tree House,
the Eve of the Emperor Penguins, and featuring a Research Guide about penguins and the arctic.

We also go Beyond the Spiderwick Chronicles, with Nixie's Song & a Giant Problem.

now some new novels, there is the Diamond of Darkhold, concluding the City of Ember books.
Watch for the City of Ember movie out soon!
Sharon Creech's new Hate That Cat ought to be a good one, and last for now is a
relatively new author, Tim Green who wrote Football Hero, which follows his Football Genius.
Tim is an ex-NFL player who is putting out sport related titles to entice those few boys
who don't actually like to read.
Enjoy Reading!

Welcome

Over the years, I have tried to do reviews on books that I think are really neat.
Not being able to understand webpages ahs limited me severely, so this year,
we introdude the jabberbloggy thingy here. I don't get it, but the new employee,
figured it out.
Oh, by the way, that's my daughter Amber. She's been around these book filled walls
since she was a tot. There were lots of Saturdays when her and her brother had to
wander around in here while I either put books away, or packed bookfairs.
So let's see if we can both impress you all with our thoughts on whats gonna be hot this fall!
